Vocab question…are these sentences right?
Ok so im taking an apparently hard vocab test and are these sentences with vocab used the right way? Ill put the vocab in caps.
Her hair has alot of FINESSE.
There was tons of BRIC-A-BRAC in the cluttered garage.
She was feeling COQUETTISH that morning.
The elegant TUREEN was filled with steaming soup.
I felt CHAGRIN after I failed my math test.
I felt a twinge of VEXATION when I saw I had so much homework.
I gave HOMAGE to the soldiers that fought in war on veterans day.
The NOCTURNAL owl came out as the sun set and let out a ‘Hoot!’
I walked down the VESTIBULE of the chapel.
I felt HARROWED and overwhelmed with all of the home work I had to do.
I never like to lend money from a USURER.
I used a FRIGID tone with her after she broke my mp3 player.
I felt ODIOUS when she called my sister annoying.

Finesse is not used correctly.
Chagrin is not correct either.
The sentence with harrowed in it, needs to have homework spelled correct.
You don’t lend money to a usurer, you borrow from one.
Odious is also not correct.
